This is a spin-off of the Bay Area Software Quality Group which has stagnated over the past several months. The purpose of this group is to discuss all things regarding software quality engineering. This includes automation, unit testing, exploratory testing, load/performance testing and any other type of testing strategy that comes up. Although this group is centered on test engineers, there should be plenty of valuable data for others within the software development ecosystem.
